Interasia Lines to Revamp East Africa Service Loops
Interasia Lines is pleased to announce the re-structuring of its existing China & East Africa direct service into two separate loops with full port rotations as follows:
IEA (Interasia-East-Africa - Dar es Salaam Loop)
Qingdao – Shanghai – Ningbo – Nansha – Shekou - Port Klang – Dar es Salaam – Port Klang– Qingdao
and
IEA2 (Interasia-East-Africa - Mombasa Loop)
Qingdao – Shanghai – Ningbo – Nansha – Port Klang – Mombasa – Port Klang– Qingdao
Interasia Lines will contribute one vessel jointly on each service loop, with IEA & IEA2 running for 56 days and 49 days round trip respectively.
Since IEA’s (calling both Mombasa and Dar es Salaam) earlier introduction in Year 2023, Interasia Lines has now established presence for North and Central China to East Africa main ports. To further improve the product offerings, Interasia Lines will now be able to provide dedicated service loops with separate scheduling for Dar es Salaam in Tanzania (IEA) and Mombasa in Kenya (IEA2). This not only provide a clear visibility to the market, and also enhance Interasia Lines as a dedicated service provider for East Africa.
By providing more services for East Africa markets, Interasia Lines thus significantly intensify the market presence for China related service corridors, with another leap forward and beyond the core Intra-Asia and India sub-continent service offerings.
IEA and IEA2 are further testament to Interasia Lines’ commitment to providing more reliable services with additional scheduling options, and to better serve shippers’ and consignees’ diverse needs for international markets. Above all, Interasia Lines will remain focused on its long term pursuit for global service developments.
