Steel Cutting Ceremony for 7,000 TEU Container Vessel at SWS

8/27/2025

On August 11, 2025, the steel cutting ceremony for Interasia’s new 7,000 TEU container vessel (Hull No. 1656) was held
at Shanghai Waigaoqiao Shipyard, China, officially marking the commencement of construction.

During the ceremony, Mr. Brendan Williams, Special Assistant to the Executive Vice President, signed the official certificates
on behalf of Interasia. This was followed by the activation of the cutting machine, after which the precision beam made the
ceremonial first cut of steel, symbolizing the beginning of the vessel’s construction.

The vessel, scheduled for delivery in June 2026, reinforces our commitment to fleet modernization and sustainable growth.
Upon delivery, it will further strengthen Interasia’s service capability and support the company’s long-term strategy to provide
reliable, competitive, and environmentally responsible shipping solutions to customers.

Interasia will keep moving ahead—stay tuned for the next chapter.
